"Now in a partially renovated, outdated, cramped kitchen, Mom acts as though she works in a 5 star kitchen, never questioning it. Please consider giving her the kitchen we’ve all been dreaming of. But most of all please consider giving back to someone who’s spent her entire life giving to others."
-- Steve Farha, son of Tom and Audrey Goetz

The dishwasher was freestanding, next to the range, and covered with butcher block that wasn't attched - all a recipe for disaster!

The cabinets are held together by Gorilla® Glue, and even that's not doing the trick anymore. The countertop is
coming apart at the sink, and the faucet leaks every time Audrey turns it on.

The location of the refrigerator limits the traffic flow into the kitchen...and this is the complete extent of Audrey's storage space in her kitchen.

The half wall next to the basement stairs is simply wasted space, and has been unfinished for the past two years!

The cramped desk area is a real danger zone. The pantry cabinets are not attached to the wall, and the desk is literally falling apart before your eyes!

The one new part of the Goetz kitchen - the floor - was destroyed by a major leak from the dishwasher.

With limited storage space, Audrey has to resort to storing her pots and pans in a plastic bin.
