Ed’s design is influenced by his father, a carpenter, who immersed him in the trade as a child. With a background in construction, Ed draws on a lifetime of experience to guide his builder clients in the design of functional spaces for homes.

Pursuing a philosophy to design spaces that fit the client’s lifestyle and individual needs, Ed believes that “form follows function”. Ed is sought after for his ability to combine and create alternative uses for cabinetry pieces, creating unique designs without incurring the cost of custom products.

Throughout his career, Ed has designed for the Home Builder Association’s Homearama events. His expertise has been noted in Detroit Home magazine, the Homestyle section in the Oakland Press and Detroit’s Home Design Awards.

Ed enjoys outdoor sports like camping, hunting and fishing. He is an avid gardener, artist, and woodworker, currently building a timber frame vacation home in northern Michigan. His experience bringing out the beauty of wood, along with his love of nature and art, enrich Ed’s creativity and inspire his design style.
